DUNAN has recently updated the PED declaration of conformity of its microchannel condensers, extending and certifying the application limits up to the remarkable values of PS=49 bar and TS=125°C.
The necessity of such extension is particularly linked to the more and more frequent use of the microchannel condensers in the chiller applications with the refrigerant R32; as well known, the refrigerant R32 is one of the most interesting alternatives to the refrigerant R410A actually available, being characterized by a far lower GWP index (675 instead of 2088).
All the available microchannel geometries of DUNAN have been involved in this upgrade.
